Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Willow Springs, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The proposed improvement consists of the reconstruction of Market Street and Willow Boulevard. Improvements include HMA surface removal; earth excavation; underdrain system installation; aggregate base course and subbase installation; heavy-duty permeable paver and heavy-duty permeable paver pavement markings installation; brick paver installation; curb & gutter removal & replacement; sidewalk removal & replacement; drainage structure adjustments; and topsoil & sod restoration. Only qualified Contractors who can furnish satisfactory proof that they have performed work of similar nature as Contractors will be entitled to receive Bid Documents and submit Proposals. To meet this requirement, at the request of the Engineer, bidders will be required to submit a "Statement of Experience" consisting of a list of previous projects ofsimilar nature in order to receive Bid Documents. The Owner reserves the right to issue Bid Documents only to those Contractors deemed qualified. D. All Proposals must be accompanied by a Bank Cashier's Check, Bank Draft, Certified Check, or Bid Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid, or as provided in the applicable sections of the "Standard Specifications". E. No Bid may be withdrawn after opening of Proposals without the consent of the Owner for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled time of opening of Bids. F. The Contractor will be required to furnish a labor and material "Performance Bond" in the full amount of the Contract. G. The Contractor will be required to pay Prevailing Wages in accordance with all applicable laws. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive technicalities, and to accept the Proposal deemed to be most favorable to the Owner.
