Site work for a civil project in Boaz, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and road / highway.
A summary of the work items is included below: Installation of approximately 3,200 LF of 6" PVC C900 Water Main along SR-205; Two (2) connections to existing water mains, sizes 6"; Grout filling of existing water main; Installation of 1 new fire hydrant assemblies; Installation of 1 new 3/4" copper service lateral transfer; Associated traffic control; Grassing of disturbed areas (Seeding and Mulching) A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on TBA, at 10:00 a.m. at the Board's office. The work of constructing the project will be let under one Contract if an award should be made The work of constructing the project will be let under one Contract if an award should be made; and the Owner reserves the right to select the Bid considered by the Owner to be in the best interest of the Owner. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Boaz Water & Sewer Board, in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interest of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
