LP for $1,411,554.160 Sealed bids for the construction of Asphalt Surfacing (chip seal of approximately 23.4 miles of county roads) in Glasscock County will be accepted at the Office of the Glasscock County Judge, Glasscock County Courthouse, 117 E. Currie Street, Garden City, TX 79739. All bids must be made on the required Bid form. The Bid form must be fully completed in ink and signed when submitted. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check, in the amount of five percent (5 %) of the total amount of the bid submitted and shall be made out and made payable to Glasscock County, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a valid contract (including executed bonds) within 10 days after notice of award of contract. The Engineer will return the bonds (or checks) as outlined in the Bid Documents & Specifications. Glasscock County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technicalities, informalities, or minor defects, and/or to accept the proposal they deem to be in the best interest of the county.
