Site work and paving for a road / highway in Garden City, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are requested for the construction of Asphalt Surfacing (chip seal of approximately 23.90 miles of county roads) in Glasscock County. Bidders must inspect the work sites and inform themselves of the scope and local conditions. Bidders are required to comply with prevailing wage legislation. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the project and bidder's name. If mailed or delivered, the sealed bid envelope should be placed inside another envelope addressed to the county judge. All bids must use the required Bid form, completed in ink and signed. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to Glasscock County, as a guarantee of entering into a contract within 10 days of award. The county reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, informalities, or minor defects, and accept the proposal deemed in the county's best interest.
