Mayor & Board of Trustees of the Village of Evergreen Park, Cook County, Illinois that proposals will be received for the following improvements: 2025 Tree Trimming Scope: The scope of this solicitation is to establish a contract with a well- qualified contractor to provide Tree trimming services on publicly owned trees for the Village of Evergreen Park. Area: The project is divided into two areas located in the Southeast Quadrant of the Village of Evergreen Park. A map of the area is included in the project packet. Award: The work will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible contractor who is best qualified to perform requested work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. The village is the sole and final determiner as to which contractor is best qualified. The village reserves the right to award all, some, or none of the work specified in this solicitation. Contract term: The contract shall be good for the remainder of the 2025 Calendar year. All work shall be completed by December 31, 2025- License: All interested contractors must be licensed with the State of Illinois to be eligible for award. The Village of Evergreen Park reserves the right at any time and for any reason to cancel this RFP or any portion thereof, to reject any or all proposals, or to accept alternate proposals. The village reserves the right to waive any immaterial defect in any bid. Services Required Services are to include the trimming of dead branches 1" diameter and greater; interfering, crossing, and dangerous branches: stubs; broken and hanging branches; and low branches over streets, sidewalks, and buildings from trees located on property owned by the Village of Evergreen Park.
