Description Mechanical Construction Visitor Center HVAC Rehab Ohiopyle State Park Ohiopyle Borough, Fayette County This project will consist of selective demolition of the Biological Treatment room interior finishes and HVAC systems. Removal and reinstallation of certain items will also be necessary. New work will include insulation, air barriers and sealing off penetrations. Interior paint and repairs to existing aluminum-faced storefronts and glazed aluminum curtain walls. Installation of a new dehumidification unit with associated ductwork, new wall mounted instantaneous water heater to the heat pump loop, new supply and return water connections, valves, etc., and a new exhaust fan with pressurization control system. Copies of all such Addenda issued will be sent to all parties receiving copies of the Bid Documents and must be acknowledged with the bid. Contractor is to begin work within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, and to complete work within One Hundred Twenty (120) calendar days. The tenth (10th) day after receipt of Notice to Proceed shall be the official starting date unless the ten (10) day period is extended in writing by the Secretary. It is understood that if the work is not completed within the time above specified or such extension thereof, as shall be granted in accordance with the General Conditions, the Contractor shall pay the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as liquidated damages and not as a penalty for non-completion of work, the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) per day for each and every calendar day thereafter until the work shall be completed and accepted. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
