Site work and paving for a civil project in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
he improvement includes various repairs to four (4) site locations. The repairs include standard concrete repairs to spalled and delaminated concrete, concrete epoxy crack injection, remove and replace bridge expansion joints, structural steel painting, erosion repairs, storm sewer modifications, traffic control, restoration, and other related items, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File Nos. 672-269/283 at the following locations: SE 6th Street over the Des Moines River, SW 8th Street Viaduct over Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Fleur Drive over SW 22nd Street, Robert D. Ray Drive under I-235, and other locations directed by the City Engineer in Des Moines, Iowa. This project shall be fully completed not later than December 1, 2025. Preletting Conference. None. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. Work on each improvement shall be commenced upon approval of the contract by the Council, and completed as stated below. The City of Des Moines (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
