Site Directions: E. 35th Ct. and Lyons Street The project includes the following major work items and related minor work items for development of the LOT B ADA PARKING LOT Project: (all quantities are approximate) Excavation 627 CY Subgrade Preparation, 12" 2,700 SY Modified Subbase 1,300 SY Pavement, PCC, 7" 1,900 SY Curb and Gutter 170 LF Sidewalk, PCC, 6" 416 SY HMA Millings 150 TON Pavement Markings 31 STA ADA Signs 52 SF Sodding, erosion control, and other work items related to items above. Each proposal shall be made on a form furnished by Kirkham Michael, and no bidder may withdraw his proposal for a period of thirty (30) days from and after the date set for opening of bids. Any questions regarding the Plans Specifications should be directed to the project Engineer. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check drawn on an Iowa bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States, or a certified share draft on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Bid Price, made payable to the Owner, or a bid bond on the form furnished by the Owner for a like amount, which shall be considered as liquidated damages and shall be forfeited to the Iowa State Fair if said proposal or bid is accepted and the bidder fails to execute the contract and file the required Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond as required in the Contract Documents.
