Site preparation, excavation, concrete work, and backfill will be completed by a pre-arranged third party. Supply and installation of playground equipment, for Lewisporte Academy in Lewisporte, NL. All work related to this project must be completed no later than August 1, 2025. Every Bidder shall submit with his/her proposal a Bid Bond of at least 10% of their Total Proposed Price (before HST) if the amount is $25,000 or greater (before HST), in the form of one of the following: 1) Certified Cheque 2) Money Order 3) Bank Draft 4) Digital Bond (eBond) 5) Surety issued by an approved Surety Company licensed to do business in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador A Performance Bond may be required in the amount of up to fifty percent (50%) of the contract price. The Performance Security is to be received not later than on (1) week after the award of the contract by the Letter of Intent and prior to the formal execution of the agreement. No work is to be undertaken until the Performance Bond has been received. The Performance Bond can be waved at the discretion of the Province. A Labour and Materials Payment Bond may be required in the amount of up to fifty percent (50%) of the contract price. The Labour and Materials Payment Bond is to be received not later than one (1) week after the award of the contract by the Letter of Intent and prior to the execution of the formal agreement.
