All work must adhere to specified operational, environmental, and compliance standards. Vendors must conduct a mandatory site visit before submitting a proposal. Site visits will be arranged during the week of spring break (March 31-April 4) as to not disrupt classes. System Requirements Paging System Components: Replace the existing two DuKane systems with a single IP-based system for the entire complex. Install a call station in the office of each of the 3 schools. Enable the creation of a minimum of 15 distinct paging zones. Provide options for reusing existing speakers and call buttons. Evaluate the feasibility of replacing call buttons with IP-compatible solutions, utilizing existing CAT 6 cabling where possible and identifying new cable runs as needed. Supply and install an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) for the system. Paging System Cabling: Run all necessary cable lines as part of the project. Ensure vendor certification by approved cabling manufacturers. Use Category 6 (FT6) cables with color-matching to the existing infrastructure. Testing, Training, and Documentation: Test all cables to meet the latest standards and provide a detailed PDF report upon completion. Offer a minimum 25-year warranty for all data connectivity components. Confirm outlet and data rack locations with the SRSD project manager before installation. Train SRSD IT staff on system usage and configuration, enabling them to make zone changes post-installation.
