Reference Number 0000376537 The scope of work for this project is to continue the replacement of selected water meters in the Eastern Service Area (Phase 2). Phase 2 is estimated to have a total of 7,566 meters to be replaced within the existing read route, Pine Lake Park, Renaissance at Manchester and Leisure Knoll Irrigation. Manchester Township is proposing to furnish and install new meters and transmitters at various houses and businesses within the Eastern Service Area. Installation will consist of the removal of the existing units, the installation of complete meter units including transmitters, testing for proper installation and installation and testing of meter reading infrastructure as specified. Township of Manchester will recoup the ownership of the old, replaced meters from this project. The Township Of Manchester reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in compliance with the New Jersey. If indicated, bid proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of ten per centum (10%) of the total amount of the bid.
