Site work for a civil project in Farina, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Echoff Street Pump Station which includes sanitary sewer, manholes, force main, a sewage pumping station, and miscellaneous items A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Village of Farina, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the general prevailing rate of wages in Farina for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or perform such work shall be paid. Also, the general prevailing rate of wages for legal holiday and overtime work, as ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor, shall be paid for each craft or type of worker to execute the contract or to perform the work. The prevailing rate of wages are set forth in the Contract Documents. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. A Substance Abuse Policy must be submitted to the Village of Farina before a contract is signed. The Village of Farina reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Village of Farina for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract.
