The Scope of Work for the Project includes installation of approximately 417 feet of 12" restrained joint ductile iron water main and all appurtenances. Project includes jack and bore in steel casing of Missouri Highway 70. Bid security in the amount of Five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid, in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received after March 7, 2025 may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Wages shall be paid to each employee engaged in the work at a rate not less than the prevailing rate of wages for the particular trade or occupation, as issued by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. The Contractor shall be responsible for complying with the prevailing rate of wages for Warren County, Missouri. The Contractor shall be responsible for complying with Missouri Immigration Laws, and must submit the Work Authorization Affidavit with Bid. Contractor shall provide a ten hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for its employees working onsite on the project, as described in Section 800.
