Renovation of an educational facility in Huron East, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project scope consists of the re-roofing of Roof Areas C (+/- 1836 SF) and D (+/- 8036 SF). Including the removal and disposal of the existing roof system, with existing gypsum board and roof deck to remain and the installation of a 2 ply Asphalt-Free roof system, complete with raised mechanical units and parapets to accommodate added insulation. Additionally, a new ladder and guard rail to be installed with the removal and disposal of an obsolete brick chimney. Roofing contractors shall be a qualified installer under the Soprema P.A.Q.+S warranty system. Proof of qualification will be required before tender prices are opened. Bid Bonds are required to accompany the tender in the amounts of $43,000.00 (Forty-Three Thousand Dollars). Successful bidder will be required to provide 50% Performance Bond and 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond. Electronic tender documents will be available to Roofing Contractors only from the office of Pow Architecture Inc., 516 Huron Street, Stratford, N5A 5T7.
