Site work and renovation of a fire / police facility in Midlothian, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of November 04, 2025, the project was awarded to GLC Roofing Systems, with an awarded amount of $393,512.67. The project is for an Accessory Building for Fire Station Building #2. The project is to be located at 3661 FM 1387. Midlothian, TX. 1. Appropriate permits through the City of Midlothian (Fees will be waved) 2. An engineered stamped drawing for the metal structure framing. 3. 3 - 14' x 14' roll up doors with electric door openers facing south. 4. Concrete foundation will need to be connected to the existing drive. Concrete must be able to support 80,000lb ladder truck. 5. 6 concrete parking stalls 10'x20' as shown on aerial. 6. One 10' x10' roll up door on the North side of the building for cross ventilation. Electric door opener included. 7. One-man way passage door on the North side of the building placement to be determined later. 8. R panel exterior color to blend with existing Fire Station and a 42" wainscoting with a veneer of a masonry product on all sides that blends with the Fire Station. 9. Standing seem roof panels. 10. Electrical plan stamped by an electrical engineer. 11. Building must be insulated to maintain temperature above freezing with assistance from Electric Heaters. 12. Ceiling Mounted Lights will be required to properly illuminate the interior space. 13. Exhaust Fans will be installed on the West and East walls at the highest point for air circulation. 14. Three exterior wall packs will be installed on the South wall to provide exterior illumination. 15. 30amp and 20amp drop cords will be installed from the ceiling in each bay to provide charging capability for the apparatus stored in the building. 16. Properly spaced 110 outlets will be installed in the interior of the building. 17. Bollards will be installed on each side of the overhead door opening. Marketing materials WILL NOT be accepted in lieu of this questionnaire. This questionnaire will assist the City in understandingyour submittal and will be used in the evaluation process and therefore it is critical that the questionnaire be completed and submitted with your submittal. The City reserves the right to reject any or all responses and to waive formalities. The City also reserve the right to purchase through State awarded contracts or other intergovernmental agreements when it is in the best interest of the City
