The RM of Loon Lake No. 561 ("the R.M.") is accepting RFQ's (Request for Quotes) for the hauling and spreading of approximately 9,000 - 10,000 cyds of 1" traffic gravel and approximately 1,300 cyds of reject sand. Stockpile Locations of product: SE 19-58-21-W3M NE 18-58-24-W3M SE 16-58-20-W3M Product to be applied to various municipal roads throughout the R.M, haul distances average 8 miles from the stockpile location. Start date: Once road bans are lifted but no later than June 1, 2025 (weather and road condition dependent). Earlier start date can be negotiated upon conditions of RM roads. If the contractor is unable to commence the haul and spread on or before June 1, 2025 council retains the right to cancel contract and award to another contractor. Haul and spread must be completed by July 15, 2025 unless permission is granted to extend deadline to complete haul and spread.
