Drainage construction service for the installation of drainage at various locations as needed. Work shall include; furnishing all labor, equipment and material necessary for installing various subsurface drainage component systems. The estimated value of the project is $300,000.50 for one year with an option to extend the contract for one (1) additional year valued again at $300,000.50 for a combined total of $600,001.00. Mass DOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Drainage, for the project with an estimated value of $600,001.00 will be required. Bidders must be on Mass DOT list of prequalified bidders. Bids received from Bidders not prequalified by Mass DOT will be declared invalid. Awarding Authority reserves the right to extend the contract for one (1) additional 12 month option. Valuation for purposes of Mass DOT Prequalification is based on first year times two (2) to arrive at an estimated total value of all bid items. The estimated value provided in this Invitation to Bid is for one year. Vendors are expected to be able to provide their services over two (2) years at two (2) times the initial estimated value. The Town of Dennis reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bidding, and to make the award as may be determined to be in the best interest of the Town. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M. Minimum Wage Rates as established by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries shall be in effect for this project
