Remodeling of a library in Arroyo Grande, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 12,000-square-foot library.
The County of San Luis Obispo (County) is currently soliciting proposals from qualified consultants for comprehensive professional CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES for the construction phase of the ARROYO GRANDE LIBRARY REMODE. The engineers estimate for the construction remodel contract is $4.5 million. The Consultant will function as an extension of County staff, will advocate for the County and for the Project. Consultant will be expected to perform any and all construction management services needed and to administer the contract between the County and the General Contractor. The County is expecting this project to need a half-time consultant to execute tasks as listed below. The Consultant shall keep the Project Manager well informed at all times of all current and planned future project activities and work diligently to resolve all disputes and schedule issues that may occur throughout the project to keep the project on schedule and within budget. Necessary communication will include emails, phone calls, and recurring project meetings with the Project Manager.
