The City of Davenport, Iowa is accepting bids from qualified vendors for the Main Street Resurfacing Project. This project is located on Main Street, from Palmer Drive to Locust Street. The proposed improvements include, but are not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment for the rehabilitation of the existing roadway, patching, select curb replacement, sidewalk ADA compliant ramps, reset all existing utility surface features to finish grade, replacement of the adjacent driveway approaches, topsoil, sodding, and erosion control. For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained.
