As of August 18, 2025, this project has been cancelled. Work is to be performed in Building D at Smithridge Elementary School. Remove and replace all existing asbestos-containing fire dampers protecting openings in rated wall or ceiling assemblies, such as Multi-Purpose Room ceilings, occupancy walls, etc. The remaining asbestos-containing fire dampers will be removed, and duct systems will be repaired where they are not protecting fire-rated assemblies.
