Furnish and install all materials and equipment and provide all labor required and necessary to complete the work shown on the drawings and/or specified in all Sections of Division 26 and all other work and miscellaneous items, not specifically mentioned, but reasonably inferred for a complete installation, including all accessories required for testing the system. It is the intent of the drawings and specifications that all systems be complete and ready for operation. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality or irregularity, and award a contract that is deemed in the best interest of the Owner. Vallivue School District will be accepting sealed bids for the Vallivue High School Fire Alarm Upgrade project. Building Areas: 7 existing fire areas separated by 2-hour firewalls. Area A: 44,872 SF Area B: 32,060 SF Area C: 29,266 SF Area D: 64,327 SF Area E: 64,327 SF Area F: 13,622 SF Existing fire alarm system to be upgraded. Existing fire sprinkler system to remain unchanged. All bids must be submitted on the forms furnished and must be signed by the bidder in pen and ink with his name and mailing address. Bids received after the bid opening time will not be considered and no bidder may withdraw his bid after the bid opening time or before the award of contract unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days. The board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, or to accept the bid or bids deemed in the best interest of Vallivue School District. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, with a surety company licensed to do business in Idaho or a certified or cashier's check drawn on an Idaho Bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Vallivue School District. In the event of bidder's failure to sign the contract or furnish the required Performance and Payment bonds, this bid surety will be forfeited. Bidders shall hold a valid Idaho Public Works Contractor's License in accordance with Title 54, Chapter 19, Idaho Code as amended.
