Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oak Ridge, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Location of Work: Project is located at Heritage Farm Park, 8515 Scoggins Road, Oak Ridge NC. Scope of Work: Scope of work generally consists of the following: 1. Concrete flatwork 2. Boardwalk 2. Contractor will be selected by March 28th. 3. Proposal to be approved by Town Council April 4th. 4. Construction anticipated to occur during May - July of 2025. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of the State of North Carolina and be appropriately licensed as a Contractor as provided in General Statutes Chapter 87 or a Licensed Landscape Contractor as provided in General Statutes Chapter 89D. Both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond are required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the Contract and upon the payment in full to all persons supplying labor and furnishing materials for and in connection with the construction of this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, or to reject non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids. The Owner reserves the right to award a contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and time.
