Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Olympia Fields, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; and playground / park / athletic field.

Work will include: site preparation, construction fencing, temporary soil erosion and sediment control, site removals and clearing, earthwork, excavation, and grading, cast-in-place concrete foundations and footings, pedestrian asphalt paving, sport court asphalt paving (color coat and striping), pedestrian concrete paving, picnic shelter installation, permanent lawn games, landscaping, native seed planting, and turf seed restoration. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashiers Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Olympia Fields Park District. No proposals or bids will be considered unless accompanied by such bond or check. The Olympia Fields Park District reserves the right to waive technicalities, to accept or reject any or all bids, and/or to accept only portions of a bid and reject the remainder. The Park District will award the contract to the lowest most responsible and responsive Bidder, as determined by the Park District. In considering the Bidder's responsibility, the Park District may evaluate, among other factors, the ability of the Bidder to provide experienced labor sufficient in numbers to timely and properly complete the services, the financial capability of the Bidder, and the performance of the Bidder on other projects. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Olympia Fields Park District. The Olympia Fields Park District encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
