Accepting proposals from qualified firms to provide Construction Management Services for the Downtown West Parking Structure Project. In general, the Project will consist of the demolition of existing commercial buildings within the project limits and the construction of the proposed parking structure. The intent of the structure is to serve the planned downtown area, also known as the "Forge District", including an office building and hotel to be constructed adjacent to the Project, by others, at a later date. The proposed parking structure is envisioned to include the addition of 500+ parking spaces and is confined within a footprint of approximately 134 feet by 279 feet in length. The proposed Project will also include related work such as the installation of new utility services, the undergrounding of existing overhead utilities within the project footprint, the installation of WQMP BMPs, landscaping improvements, adjacent off-site improvements security cameras, communications facilities connecting to existing fiber optic interconnect infrastructure, and other improvements as required by the Basis of Design and governing codes/regulations and contract documents. 3.
