Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Basketball Court Lighting & Pickleball Court with New Parking Lot Construction Any explanation desired by a Bidder regarding the meaning or interpretation ofthe "Invitation for Construction Bid", drawings, specifications etc. must be requested in writing and received by the Purchasing Agent within eight (8) working days prior to the Bid closing date and time. Unless otherwise specifically stated, so a reply can be issued to all Bidders. Oral explanations or instructions, given before award ofthe contract will not be binding. The City of Bridgeton reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive immaterial information. Specifications and forms of bids for the proposed work, prepared by Robert A. Mulford, III, PE, CME of Fralinger Engineering PA and have been filed in said Engineer's office at 629 Shiloh Pike, Bridgeton, New Jersey 08302 and may be inspected by prospective bidders during business hours. Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the specifications by the Engineer on proper notice and prepayment of a non-refundable fee of $50.00 for cost of reproduction. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms in the manner required by the specifications. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid but no greater than $20,000. Consent of Surety from an approved Surety Company must also be submitted with the Bid. Please be advised that any bidder who fails to submit a ""Consent of Surety"" with the bid can anticipate that the bid submitted will be automatically rejected. Pursuant to C57, Laws of 2004 (s1778) all business organizations that do business with a local contracting agency are required to be registered with the State and provide proof of that registration to the contracting agency before the contracting agency may enter in a contract with the business.
