Completed plans call for the construction of a 150,000-square-foot fitness / recreation center; for site work for a swimming pool; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot.
A. The City of Corpus Christi ("City" or "Owner") hereby issues this request for bids ("RFB"). The City is seeking bids from firms interested and qualified in new aquatics facility construction. B. Park Pool includes: 6-lane 25-YD Competition Lap Pool (3'-6" to 6'-0" in depth) Zero-Entry Beach with Children's Play Unit, Open Body Flume Bathhouse/Administration/Mechanical Support Building Parking Lot (92 Spaces) and Concrete Pool Deck Fabric Shade Structures Site Lighting Utility Improvements C. The solicitation consists of a single base bid D. Contractor Self Performance - 50% Question Deadline 11/05/2025 at 4:00 PM CT The work is to be substantially completed within 365 days. Bidders must submit an acceptable Bid Security with their Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the Project with the Owner within 10 days of Notice of Award of the Contract. The security must be payable to the City of Corpus Christi, Texas in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the greatest amount bid.
