*As of April 25, 2025, this bid has been awarded and is expected to start next month. The entire project is expected to be completed in 2026. The Park Creek Metropolitan District, a quasi-municipal corporation and political subdivision of the State of Colorado, notifies all qualified persons/companies that proposals will be received for contracting work and services in connection with the construction of Central Park: Filing 63 - Earthwork & Demo. - Filing 63- Demo, Grading, Erosion Control Filing 63 is 21 Acre lot west of E 40th Ave and Central Park Blvd. intersection. This project is going to consist of: import fill, cut and fill onsite, demo, and erosion control set up. The contractor will be working next to the general public where there is an active sidewalk and a bank in the area. Demo areas consist of sidewalk along Central Park Blvd. Import fill will be roughly 25,000 CY. Park Creek Metropolitan will approve import soil based on Geotech report and soils testing. Grading will be spreading out 40,000 CY that is stockpiled on site throughout the project. Roadways will be graded to plus or minus 1 tenth (0.1') from bottom of roadway section and 1' from TBC. Grading has slight high risk as we are grading next Phillips 66 3 petroleum lines along Central Park Blvd. Respondents shall note that a contract is anticipated to be a Brookfield Properties re-assignable contract. Initially, Owner of the contract shall be Brookfield Properties with later re-assignment of the Contract to The Park Creek Metropolitan District. Therefore, any and all references to Owner, District, The Park Creek Metropolitan District made in the Request for Proposal shall be defined as Brookfield Properties/The Park Creek Metropolitan District. Prevailing wage requirements apply. The District will accept proposal that represents best value to District. The District reserves the right to waive irregularities in any proposal. Performance & Payment bonds and proper insurance coverage will be required.
