The city of Mt. Washington is seeking bids for the purchase and construction of a new salt shed building. The salt shed should have a storage capacity of at least 800 tons of salt. The two possible properties are located within the Mt. Washington city limits As of August 14, 2025, this project is under construction. An architect and a general contractor have been selected. A firm timeline has not been established; however construction began approximately three weeks ago and is to be completed by the end of this month.
