1. A Bidder’s bond is not required for this proposal. 2. Payment and Performance bonds are required for proposals in excess of $35,000 The intent of the project is to have a Contractor inspect and clean the reservoirs as listed in the Bid Schedule. Each reservoir is a permit-required confined space. Contractor shall adhere to the permitrequired confined space program including the mandatory presence of a suited rescue diver (or tandem divers) and a means of rescue from inside the tank (lanyard/hoist or other OSHA approved rescue method). Workers that hoist the equipment to/from the ground onto the tank roof must comply with OSHA tie-off requirements including the use of full body harnesses and lanyards. The proposal shall include any additional considerations that will make the project complete. Prevailing Wage. In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the California Labor Code, the Casitas Municipal Water District has ascertained the general prevailing rate of wages applicable to the work to be done. It shall be mandatory upon the Contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon the subcontractor(s) under them, to pay not less than the specified rates to all laborers and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the contract.
