Site work for a water / sewer project in Menard, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids are sought on the rehabilitation of the existing elevated storage tank, including existing coating removal and preparation, interior and exterior painting, and overflow piping modifications. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the OWNER, negotiable U.S. Government bond (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable Surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid cost shall be submitted with each Bid. The deadline to ask questions is 3/17/2025 5:00 PM CST A pre-bid conference will not be conducted for this Project. The current fair share goals for the State of Texas are as follows: MBE: CONSTRUCTION 24.50%; NON-CONSTRUCTION 24.05%; TOTAL COMBINED CONSTRUCTION AND NON-CONSTRUCTION 24.16%. WBE: CONSTRUCTION 11.34%; NON-CONSTRUCTION 19.35%; TOTAL COMBINED CONSTRUCTION AND NON-CONSTRUCTION 17.38%. The City of Menard reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids, to waive technicalities, to readvertise, and to proceed otherwise when the best interests of the city will be realized hereby. If the Bid is not awarded at the previously mentioned meeting of the Menard City Council, then the Bids may be held by the OWNER for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders.
