The Purpose and Intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified Vendors (Vendor) to conduct competitive negotiations to enter a contract with Manassas Park City Schools (MPCS) to furnish all labor and materials to replace the carpet and flooring at Manassas Park Elementary School (MPES) and Manassas Park Middle School (MPMS) in accordance with the stated requirements of this RFP (collectively, the Project). MPCS seeks to replace carpet and flooring in its facilities located in Manassas Park, VA. This project encompasses the removal of existing flooring materials and installation of new carpeting and hard surface flooring across multiple school buildings within the district. If a site visit registration is submitted after the deadline, it will not be honored, and no other date and time will be made available. Attendance of the on-site tour is not mandatory for vendors wishing to participate in the bidding process. However, we encourage those wishing to participate in the bidding process to attend the on-site tour. If a vendor is unable to attend the on-site tour on the scheduled date and would like to have an on-site tour, MPCS would be willing to schedule a time for that vendor to have an on-site tour before the proposal submission deadline, if time allows. MPCS reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Proposals in whole or in part and waive any informalities in the competitive negotiations process. Further, MPCS reserves the right to enter into any Contract deemed to be in the best interest of MPCS. The entire contents of the RFP, any Addenda, Vendor's Proposal and Negotiated Changes shall be incorporated by reference into any resulting Contract at the time of Contract formation.
