The RM of Coulee No. 136 is accepting tenders for loading, hauling & spreading of approximately 8,000 cubic yards of crushed road gravel and ratepayer private gravel from 1 municipal pit at SE 16-15-12-W3M. The gravel haul for the Municipality will consist of loading, hauling and spreading road gravel provided from the Municipal Stockpile at SE16-15-12-W3M. The total amount of gravel to be hauled is approximately 8,000 cubic yards in the Municipality. The successful bidder shall meet all OH&S safety regulations and certifications and will be required to provide proof of safety certifications upon request A bidder may, without prejudice to himself, withdraw his tender at any time up to within two (2) hours of the time specified in Clause 1.1. The tenders received will be valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of the tender. Council reserves the right to consider tenders with minor omissions provided that the bidder, is successful in the tender awarding, can rectify the omission within five (5) days of the tender being awarded. State the expected start and completion dates of work. Council reserves the right to cancel road gravel application if too late in the fall or call in another subcontractor to complete. The Municipality reserves the right to refuse to accept any or all tenders, and the lowest tender not necessarily be accepted.
