** As of May 2,2025 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on May 7,2025.** The Contractor is responsible for the installation of a new wooden stairway, approximately 165' in length and 41' vertical distance between upper and lower Elm Avenue in a location known as the Palm Hills Paper Trail. The stairway is to be pressure treated timber framing, decking, and 42" tall railing and is to be constructed on reinforced concrete piers as detailed on the project plans The stairway also includes a continuous welded galvanized tubular handrail mounted to the side railing at a height of 36 inches The project also includes clearing/grubbing, pavement removal & saw-cutting, incidental concrete paving and vertical curb, storm drainage structure and piping, erosion control traffic control, and surface restoration.
