Renovation of a fire / police facility in Watsonville, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Fire Station 1 Restrooms/Showers Renovations Project ST-24-15065 The project consists of performing the following, including, but not limited to: The remodeling of the Fire Station 1 restrooms on the first and second floor including the reconfiguration of a new laundry and shower rooms. Improvements include but are limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint, doors and floors. g. Bidders are to be licensed in accordance with the provisions of the California Contractors License Law, Chapter 9 of Division 3 of the State Business and Professions Code. In addition, bidder must have at the time the contract is awarded for this project, one of the following classification(s) of contractor's license Technical questions regarding the bid documents should be directed through the Questions & Answer section of the project on the City's Open Gov Procurement portal. All other project-related inquiries may be directed to Fabian Guzman, Project Manager, by email to fabian.guzman@watsonville.gov. Phone calls will not be accepted. provide their active Public Works Contractor Registration number in the designated areas on the bid forms. City will confirm active PWC registration through the online DIR contractor lookup tool. All contractors and subcontractors must furnish electronic certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner (aka Division of Labor Standards Enforcement). Additionally, the awarded Contractor shall submit certified payroll records to the City. In addition, awarded Contractor must post jobsite notices prescribed by regulations. Project Labor Agreement. Pursuant to Chapter 17, Section 7 of the City of Watsonville Municipal Code, the contractor shall enter into the Project Labor Agreement, which is included herein, if the awarded contract is $600,000.00 or greater, and employs three or more crafts. The plans and specifications are on file at the Public Works/Utilities Department, City Hall, 250 Main Street, Watsonville, California 95076.
