Renovation of a water / sewer project in Katy, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The scope of work for this project includes replacing existing Trojan Horizontal Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection system with Xylem WEDECO TAK 55 H Horizontal UV Disinfection System along with replacement of necessary electrical wirings, conduits and other appurtenances for proper operation of UV disinfection system as per contract plans and specifications. The contractor shall phase the replacement of UV banks to ensure uninterrupted UV disinfection of the wastewater effluent. A cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 2% of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance, payment and maintenance bonds for the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
