**As of April 29, 2025, the project was awarded to Independent Enterprises, Inc., with an awarded amount of $1,914,430.** Pittsburgh Water is requesting bids for the 2025 Sewer Reconstruction Project. The project is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract focused on the reconstruction and relay of Pittsburgh Water's public sewer system including storm, sanitary, and combined sewer facilities as required or directed. Questions Due Date: Mar 6th 2025, 4:00 PM EST All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer the Procurement Office in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Procurement Office in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all partiesrecorded as having received the Bidding Documents.Questionsreceived less than seven (7) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered A pre-Bid conference will be held only if specifically required by the Bidding Documents. T It is the goal of the PWSA to award contracts to disadvantaged businesses and to provide guidance on how to conduct business with the PWSA. The PWSA encourages every contractual firm to meet or exceed participation levels of ten percent (10%) to twenty-five percent (25%) of all contracts, regardless of the dollar value. Services may include professional services, purchased supplies and materials, hired labor, equipment, and or general management services. This may include 1 st and 2 nd tier subcontractors. The goals may be adjusted from year to year and shall be communicated to all contractors through bid documents and pre-solicitation meetings. The disadvantaged business participation levels are goals and not a quota. The Supplier Diversity Program is consistent with federal and state statutory and regulatory provisions, the Mayor of Pittsburgh's Executive Order of November 30, 1990, and other contractual requirements relating to equal opportunity with supplier diversity. The PWSA does not discriminate against anyone based on race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, place of birth, sex, sexual orientation, family status, age, or non-disqualifying disability, or on any other basis protected by federal, state or local law.
