**As of August 19, 2025, project was awarded to Albuquerque Asphalt, Inc, awarded amount is $1,400,419.50 The City of Rio Communities (hereinafter the "City") seeks sealed bids from qualified construction companies for the purpose of reconstructing Goodman Avenue and constructing an adjacent pedestrian path. The proposed improvements include clearing and grubbing, excavation, roadway and pedestrian path pavement, drainage features, street light installation, traffic control, permanent signing and striping and miscellaneous construction. The project consists of removing and replacing the existing roadway with a minor shift in the alignment to accommodate the addition of an asphalt pavement pedestrian path. The project also includes the construction two safety lights per intersection at two intersections and the addition of drainage features. The project limits will be defined in the construction plan set in Appendix A.
