The full scope of work includes, but is not limited to: 1. The grass height should not exceed 5 in height during the contract period. 2. Prior to each mowing, remove all litter and debris from lawn areas, set flowers and/or flower pots upright, and perform general upkeep of the area. 3. All volunteer trees in shrub lines or any other structure shall be removed throughout the season, as needed. 4. The contractor will leave clippings on the lawn as long as no readily visible clumps remain on the grass surface. Otherwise, the contractor will distribute large clumps of clippings by mechanical blowing or by collecting and removing them. 5. Memorial stones must be kept clean and tidy; grass clippings must be blown or swept from stones and memorials if grass is blown on them. All practical effort should be made to blow grass away from rocks. The use of chute guards is recommended to control blowing grass clippings. 6. No mowing activities will be allowed during a burial ceremony. 7. Provide one fall cleanup service. This includes the collection of leaves and debris. This must be completed after the leaves have fallen and scheduled with the public works department. For mowing and maintenance services at Restland Cemetery Location: 6801 Hwy F-17 W, Baxter, Ia 50028 Supervision to mow and maintain Restl and Cemetery from April 9th through November 30th, 2025. The City Council has the right to reject all bids.
