Summary Project Description: This project includes renovations and alterations to Crown Point Central School including, but not limited to window and door replacement, roof replacement, siding, fascia, and column repair/replacement, and exterior painting. Renovation of existing gymnasium restrooms and new accessible restroom. Replacement of partial boiler plants, electric panelboards, unit ventilators, HVAC systems, Kitchen vent hood, and Gymnasium heating. Upgrade of campus security system/access controls and building controls will be by the school's preferred State Contract Vendor. The project will be bid and awarded as four Prime Contract(s) for General Construction (GC), Mechanical (M), Electrical (E), and Plumbing (P). Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. Contract Terms: Lump sum (fixed price, stipulated sum) . Last Request for Information Due: 10 days prior to due date of bids Notice of Award: Within 7 days after due date. Required Construction Start: Not later than April 1, 2025.
