Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This contract consists of a base bid involving site preparation work regarding proposed playground improvements, including Tree Removal, Site Grading, Installation of underdrains, mulch, asphalt paths, and final site restoration. Site demolition, purchase and installation of playground equipment, and purchase of mulch materials to be provided by others. The items and work associated with this bid are more fully defined in Sec 01 22 00 Measurement and Payment. A nominal fee of 0.33% of the bid amount (up to $5,000) is assessed only to bidders who are awarded contracts. For bidders who are not the winning bid; there are absolutely no fees. Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to Morrisville Borough along with an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be provided to the Bidder. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance and bonds for Performance, Payment, and Maintenance in such form as meets the approval of Morrisville Borough and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by Morrisville Borough. Morrisville Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, and to accept the bid, which it deems, in its sole judgment, to be in the best interest of the Borough.
