Site work and paving for a road / highway in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Final phase of SC Hwy 31 (Carolina Bays Parkway). Build new limited-access freeway to extend SC Hwy 31 from SC Hwy 9 to NC State line. The project is included in the county's Ride 3 Program (Road Improvement & Development Effort). As of June 10, 2025, per owner, construction has not started. The draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is in the process of being reviewed. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, it is anticipated that construction could begin in Spring 2029. Design team identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
