The City of Ormond Beach, Florida is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the SANITARY SEWER INFLOW & INFILTRATION SURVEY. The City of Ormond Beach is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive survey that will allow the City of Ormond Beach to prioritize their upgrades to the most severe sections. This survey will facilitate the City of Ormond Beach, to maintain compliance with the FDEP requirements Section62-600.705(2)(a), F.A.C. ruling. This ruling requires 25% of the sanitary sewer collection system be investigated within a five-year period for excessive I & I conflict. This will be an ongoing program.Such conflicts can include cracks or breaks in the piping, cross-connection with storm systems,faulty lateral connections, tree root penetration, and degrading manhole structures. The intended method to develop this survey is through CCTV Inspections, Manhole Inspections, and Smoke Testing the mains and laterals. The deadline for submitting questions is March 14, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Questions received after that time will not be responded to. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
