The City of Ormond Beach is soliciting proposals for turn-key projects to design the new playground layouts, supply materials, deliver and install new exterior commercial playground equipment, including required permitting. The selected company shall be issued a contract for services for this project. The playground equipment chosen shall be durable and designed for outdoor use. This playground equipment selected shall incorporate the latest playground design philosophy and technology addressing the physical and creative needs of children. The playground equipment selected for Fire Station 91 shall be appropriate for ages 2-5 and 5-12, and stress the importance of durability. The playground equipment selected for Andy Romano Beachfront Park shall be appropriate for ages 5-12. The equipment and area around the equipment shall be accessible to all children and meet all current ADA requirements at a minimum, with ADA inclusive features possible within the funding amount.
