Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Ormond Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of removing an existing 2'-6" foot non-ADA deteriorated concrete sidewalk and replacing it with a new 5' foot ADA compliant concrete sidewalk, including ADA compliant detectable mats and curbing on the west & east sides of Military Boulevard, from Woodlands Boulevard to Vanderbilt Drive. Certain sections of Military Boulevard do not have continuous sidewalks, and these areas will be added to provide a continuous sidewalk connection where applicable. This project will be in strict accordance with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, and per the approved plans, specifications and Invitation to Bid. All work done on the sidewalk improvements project must adhere to the Highway Wage Determination, FL 20250274, see CDBG Requirements in the project manual. The work is shown on the Drawings and specified in the Project Manual. The deadline for submitting questions is May 15, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Laborers and mechanics employed by primary contractors and sub-contractors performing construction work on this project shall be paid wages at rates not less than the prevailing rates as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act. The prime contractor is responsible for the enforcement of wage compliance and support documentation for the duration of the project and may be held liable for wage restitution. The applicable information regarding the laws and regulations stated above are included in the bid packet.
