CDBG Division Avenue North Side Sidewalk Improvements The work consists of removing an existing 4' foot non-ADA deteriorated concrete sidewalk and replacing it with a new 5' foot ADA compliant concrete sidewalk, including ADA compliant detectable mats and curbing in strict accordance with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements on the north side of Division Avenue from Bostrom Lane to South Ridgewood Avenue per the approved plans, specifications and Invitation to Bid. A bid alternate #1 section from east side of South Washington Street sidewalk to Roosevelt Drive and bid alternate #2 section from Roosevelt Drive to South Ridgewood Avenue, will be included if sufficient funding is available. All work done on the sidewalk improvements project must adhere to the Highway Wage Determination, FL 20230191, see CDBG Requirements in the project manual. The work is shown on the Drawings and specified in the Project Manual. The deadline for submitting questions is May 19, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. This is a federally assisted project and is subject to Federal Labor Standards which include, the Davis-Bacon Act (payment of prevailing wage rates) and the Copeland Act (anti-kickback of wages & submission of weekly certified payroll reports), as well as other provisions including 24 CFR 85.36 (bonding requirements), and Section 3 & M/WBE Laborers and mechanics employed by primary contractors and sub-contractors performing construction work on this project shall be paid wages at rates not less than the prevailing rates as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act The prime contractor is responsible for the enforcement of wage compliance and support documentation for the duration of the project and may be held liable for wage restitution.
