Site work for a water / sewer project in Palm Bay, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Questions are due to the procurement official no later than Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 5:00 PM. Any questions submitted after will be answered at the discretion of the City. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and supervision for the work. All work is to be performed in a single phase and comply with City of Palm Bay Utilities Department Policies, Procedures and Standards Handbook when applicable. 1. Surface preparation will include cleaning with 4000 PSI pressure washing. 2. All signs of corrosion to be power tool cleaned to SSPC-SP3 standards 3. Any corrosion spots as well as all flanges and valves are to be primed using Sherwin Williams Macropoxy 5000 @ 1.0-1.5 mil DFT. 4. All pipes and related appurtenances to be fully primed with Sherwin Williams Macropoxy 646 @ 5.0-10.0 mil DFT. 5. All sharp edges and corners, 90s etc. to be stripe coated with Sherwin Williams Macropoxy 646. 6. All pipes and related fixtures to be fully finish coated with Sherwin Williams Acrolon Ultra @ 2.0-3.0 mil DFT. 7. Preparation and material application shall be in strict accordance with the surface coating material manufacturer's specifications/instructions 8. Materials shall be commercial products, specifically manufactured for the specified surfaces
