Regional School District 8 ("Reg. 8") Board of Education is seeking competitive bids for construction services to construct improvementsto the Lower Multi-Use Field at RHAM Middle/High School in Hebron, CT. The Scope of Work for the services being sought, which includes both labor and equipment, is fully described in the Instructions to Bidders and other Bidding Documents. There will be no pre-bid meeting. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total value of the project must accompany the proposal. . Emailed or faxed Bids will not be accepted. To obtain or review Bids refer to the Bidding Instructions. Reg. 8 reserves the right to amend or withdraw this Request for Proposals (RFP) for any reason (including, but not limited to, the lack of funding for the Services), to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in any bid submission, to award or not award a contract in connection with this RFP, and to award a contract to the bidder as deemed by Reg. 8 to be the Lowest Responsible Qualified Bidder. No bidder may withdraw its Bid within sixty (60) days of the date of the opening of the Bids.
