The Scott County Conservation Board (SCCB) is requesting proposals for Playground Equipment at the Whispering Pines Shelter and the Buffalo Bill Shelter at Scott County Park near Long Grove, Iowa. The project budget is $200,000, and proposals should include delivery and installation. All vendors should be registered with Sam.gov and must have a Unique Entity ID. The project budget is $200,000 for the two playgrounds. Proposals shall not exceed this amount. The Whispering Pines Shelter is very popular, and vendors are encouraged to dedicate a larger portion of the budget to this area. All playground equipment and surfacing must meet ALL standard playground equipment specifications, including ASTM, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001, and IPEMA Certified. Design for maximum age group usage, primarily ages 5-12, and include: Enough unique features to maximize the number of children that can use each playground Multilevel play structures 4 swings at Whispering Pines, with one being for inclusive play Proposals should use wood fiber mulch as the safety surface. SCCB will purchase the mulch separately. The proposed playgrounds shall fit in the existing playground areas Buffalo Bill Playground is approximately about 57' by 36' and has a fall zone area of 2400 sq feet Whispering Pines is approximately 81 ' by 42' with a fall zone of 3400 sq feet.
