SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work generally includes, but is not necessarily limited to all items shown on the Project Drawings and more particularly described in the MERX Schedule of Quantities and any additional work as directed by the Engineer: General: • Mobilization of all labour, equipment, and materials to the project site. • The supply & Installation of one (1) project sign. • The supply & placement of approximately 483 meters of 150mm PVC DR 18 PC 235 watermain. • The supply & placement of approximately 24 meters of 100mm PVC DR 18 PC 235 Post Hydrant Leads. • The excavation of approximately 1597 cubic meters of main trench material, with approximately 240 cubic meters of this quantity estimated to be rock excavation. • The excavation of approximately 602 cubic meters of service trench material, with approximately 92 cubic meters of this quantity estimated to be rock excavation. • The supply & Installation of pipe and fittings for seventeen (17) water services. • The supply & Installation of approximately 84 m HDPE culverts of various sizes. • The supply and installation of 19.05 meters of guiderail and 2 sloped and buried guide rail sections as per the Municipal Master Construction Specifications. • The cleaning and deepening of approximately 538 m of existing ditches and channels. • The supply & Installation of 4 Post Hydrants (1.8 m bury). • All reinstatement and cleaning of properties as required. • The completion of all deficiencies as directed by the Engineer including final cleanup and demobilization from the project site.
