Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Moreno Valley, California. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

Currently, there is no dedicated space on MVC's campus for Performing or Visual Arts. The limited amount of existing space for music, dance, and art programs is housed within portable modulars and individual rooms within the Library and Humanities buildings that are not designed for performing/visual arts instruction. The proposed project would construct a new building to house classroom, laboratory, individual practice, faculty office, and audio visual spaces. The project would also include a dedicated performance theater with associated support space. The proposed facility is critical to the College having permanent facilities associated with a comprehensive college. Secondary effects of the proposed project would remove/demolish PSC Portables 2, 3, 4, and 11. The music programs in the Parkside Complex (3, 4, 11) will temporarily be relocated to the Humanities building until the Fine and Performing Arts Complex is complete. As of February 10, 2026, this project is included in the state's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
